ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Jesus Lamas. I’m from Chicago, IL, and studied at Columbia College Chicago. I have a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design. I am very passionate about my art, wether its design, music, or any medium. I always strive to experiment and try new things. The more I know, the more I can make! I have two orange tabby cats, Amy and Shadow. They feature in a lot of my pieces. I’ve always loved art as a kid and always wanted things to look right.  Graphic Design
I do freelance work outside of my studies. My main strength is promotional flyers. I’m mainly involved in the Mexican side of promotional flyers. I created one piece for a friend of mine who was hosting a Mexican event, and it dominoed from there. However, I also do sports posters for local games and players. I do a little of everything. Lastly, I love doing passion projects that involve cats… clearly based on my portfolio!
Musician
In high school, I decided to pick up a guitar and learn how to play Mexican regional music. A later joined a band with friends that lasted a year. After that, we went our separate ways. I built on what I learned and became a solo artist as a hobby. I learned to write my own music, sing, play multiple instruments, and mix it. This is how I spend my free time!
